i made the original of this piece on July 17, 2014—two days after four palestinian boys were killed by one of many israeli bombings on a beach in gaza: ismail, 9 years old. ahed, 10 years old. zakaria, 10 years old. mohammed, 11 years old. i wanted to remember their names. this is a riso print based on the original, which was made with ink, stamping, and typewriter on paper.
