Whether we’re in a crisis time or a time of reflection, here’s a humble list of actions to keep us grounded as we fight for collective liberation.

A GROUNDING OF REVOLUTIONARY REMINDERS
Watch trusted movement organizations for guidance. Listen to the calls for action coming out of strong collective leadership. Ask your elders for their reflections. Read all you can that’s coming from outlets that don’t prioritize profits. Tell the truth both fiercely and freely. Listen to young people. Drink some water. Follow through on your commitments. Be steady when you can. Feel your feelings when you can. Write if it feels right. Connect with the people you love. Rest. Do the next small organizing task that’s in front of you. Do none of these things and go to the water. Do all of these things and then rest again. Use every opportunity to unmask the workings of white supremacy. Use every opportunity to banish all that is based in extraction and control. Fight with the tools that are uniquely yours. Fight with the tools that are uniquely yours. Fight with the tools that are uniquely yours. And now, above all else, move into your place on the path that has been forged by every ancestor who has ever breathed into being the possibility of liberation.
