jey shared these words with me as sentiments that had continued to come up for them as a refrain during the long hard lonely months of the pandemic, as so many folks were sick or dying alone or stuck in the fucked up whirlpool of racial capitalism—made to push past their limits in order to work to meet their basic needs: needs which should be met for all of us, without question. jey and I worked together to get the visual of these words just right, and I’m grateful for their input and their eye.

These prints are a reminder to any of us who hold precious and marginalized identities—queer & trans folks, people of color, folks whose bodies have varied abilities or sizes or needs and and and: our collective breath and our many beautiful bodies are all holy & sacred.
